Hi everybody! We've set up this blog so that our family and friends can tune into updates on our lives, specifically where baby rugs is concerned. We'll be adding photos and updates as time progresses - check out the growing belly, any room painting or nursery set-up that we do, and whatever else comes to mind over the next 6 months.
To start off, we're including a couple photos of our 2008 Christmas tree, a douglas fir we cut down in the national forest (with a permit, and yes this is good forest management when we don't allow forest fires). Unrelated to the belly, but in some ways it could be considered a by-product - the coziness of home has become especially important to us this year.
Today marks 15 weeks in the life of baby rugs. We have our second midwife appointment on Thursday the 18th, but Laurie and babe are feeling good (Laurie has been enjoying the snow, getting out in the mountains with her cross-country skis - oh the joys of having energy again). Today it is a balmy -15 with a wind chill of -23 - brrrrr!
Love to you all,
Laurie & John
